7:30-8:30 Guest speaker is Hal Shurtleff. Mr. Shurtleff is an expert on the UN program called Agenda 21. He will discuss how Agenda 21 limits American liberties by diminishing private property rights.
Agenda 21 is a direct assault on private property rights, as a means to control the activities of populations.(Populations of People, like you and me!) Many area towns (like NBPT, N. Andover, Lowell, Amesbury) have already adopted Agenda 21 programs. A major concern is the deceitful way agenda 21 programs are introduced to and adopted by towns and cities. Most local governments would not pass regulations created by the UN as an effort to control and diminish the rights of private property owners. Because of this, Agenda 21 leaders have devised clever ways to promote their progressive initiatives. These usually involve the lure of federal grant money using friendly names like the Green Communities Act, Smart Growth, Sustainable Development, ICLEI, Historical Preservation, Public Private Partnerships, and many more.
